Throughout history, Pridnestrovie's Dniester River has been the traditional border of Christendom. To the other side, in what is today Moldova, the muslim Ottoman empire used to dominate. This small outpost in Chasovenka (Pridnestrovie) was for many years literally the frontier of the Christian realm.

Under Construction: After years of neglect under Soviet rule, churches and cathedrals all over Pridnestrovie are now being rebuilt and restored. Along with independence for the new country came a revival of the Christian faith and a new for restoring our houses of worship.
