Street action

Despite snow and sub-zero freezing temperatures, the streets of Tiraspol fill with citizens taking part in a protest action against a 2006 Moldova-Ukraine border blockade aimed at forcing a shutdown of the young nation's export economy. By their courage the people of small country stand up to much bigger neighbors. They have shown their wish to live in freedom and they are determined to shape their own destiny.
