PMR's Rambos

These "Rambos" of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic form the backbone of the young nation's self-defense forces. Native born locals, they are determined to never again let foreign forces spill blood on the country's soil.

Standing strong for the land on which they were born, these volunteer citizens today serve to uphold the ideal of the multiethnic republic: Most of the force is composed of ethnic Moldavians, followed by ethnic Ukrainians, ethnic Russians, and other local born minority groups; all of them united in the defense of the country where they were born and where they grew up together in peace and inter-ethnic harmony.
