Pridnestrovie has earned the right to call itself a Multiethnic Republic. [0] In Pridnestrovie, everyone is a minority. And everyone gets along, respecting the different faiths: The country's diversity has resulted in a rich, multi-faceted culture based on tolerance and understanding.

After years of neglect under Soviet rule, churches and cathedrals all over Pridnestrovie are now being rebuilt and restored. [0] Along with independence for the new country came a revival of the Christian faith and a new for restoring our houses of worship. New churches [0] have been built, too. Following the declaration of independence and the formation of Pridnestrovie as a separate country, church authorities decided to remove the administration of the area's Orthodox Diocese [0] from Chisinau, Moldova. To believers everywhere, this move underscored Pridnestrovie's sovereign status as a separate nation.
