As reforms sweeps Eastern Europe, Pridnestrovie is no exception. Citizen groups are today building and improving on the functioning of our democratic institutions. Hundreds of candidates participate in our nation's democratic elections, sometimes as members of competing political parties and sometimes as independents. Most of them are young and many of them are female.
