New faces of Europe
You're looking at the future of Europe, sitting in a bus on its way to a political rally in Kamenka, northern Pridnestrovie. These young activists are pushing for reform in Pridnestrovie and for the country's ever-closer partnerships with the European Union. They are not seeking EU- or NATO memberships for Pridnestrovie, just a peaceful co-existence as neighbors, trade partners and close collaborators in human rights and democracy building measures.
Is Europe mature enough to let them get off the bus? Or will these young activists have to go elsewhere to see their dreams of reform and progress realized in Pridnestrovie?
