Freedom and pluralism

A participant in a democracy march in Pridnestrovie reflects on the future of her country. The movement organizing the march is on the frontlines for sovereignty and statehood, reaffirming the wish of the majority of the population for continued independence. For them, the priorities are the improvement of the functioning of democratic institutions; the independence and efficiency of the judiciary; ensuring freedom and pluralism of the electronic media; the strengthening of local democracy.
