Wildlife sanctuary

In the northern part of the country, the banks of the Dniester River make up an important wildlife sancturary. With the help of NGOs and of the country´s main university, the government of Pridnestrovie is deeply involved in ecological conversation efforts and the preservation of the native wetlands.
