Grassroots organizations in Pridnestrovie define the political life. Here, a civic organization educates its members on ways to influence local decision-making processes and build open, transparent and democratic institutions in this new European country.
Young people in Pridnestrovie's NGOs get involved and won't let their country fall into the cycle of human rights abuses which plague nearby Moldova. They follow Moldova's human rights record closely and with a critical eye, determined to prevent anything even remotely similar from ever happening in Pridnestrovie.
