Pridnestrovie's border at Novy Goyan
The new customs terminal at the Novy Goyan border crossing in Pridnestrovie was inaugurated in 2001. It meets or exceeeds international standards for control and processing facilities. Like other border stations this one, too, helps our young country stamp out smuggling and trafficking in illegal goods.
The international checkpoint of Novy Goyan is located on the border of PMR and Ukraine, on the road connecting the Balkans with Western Europe (the so-called "ninth transport corridor").
